Your Furniture Says a Lot about Your Character

Your Furniture Says a Lot about Your Character

If you have total free reign over the decorations for your living spaces (if you have the budget to buy whatever you want and you have the time to exercise some patience is sourcing everything) it applies even more so, that being the fact that the way in which you decorate your living spaces says a lot about your character. It mirrors what’s going on more in your heart than in your mind though, even though decorating does indeed take up a lot of your time which you spend thinking about a whole host of things, including the logistics of getting your decorations from the store into your home.

This is attested to in no small part by some of the folks who are at the heart of the interior decoration industry, like those over at Moleta Munro who naturally take an interest in how their customers do-up their interiors with the contemporary furniture and interior design items they buy from them. Some of the furniture pieces in particular are almost all the way unrecognisable once some of the same ones which are in stock have left the physical and online showroom and have found a home in the interiors of various customers who naturally have different tastes. So it’s not so much an expression of one’s character exclusively through the style of the furniture and other interior decor items they choose to decorate their interiors with, but rather the way in which they arrange everything, mix, match and present it all.

It’s in the subtleties of how you organise your interior pieces wherein an expression of your character lies and to the untrained eye this can be rather easy to miss. A very comfortable workstation assembled with lots of different pieces each with different designs and styles for instance symbolises the character of someone who’s more of a functional perfectionist than anything else. It’s more about being comfortable enough to perhaps be as productive as one can be for as long as possible and while you’re busy putting in the hours slogging away you aren’t particularly bothered about how you personally look and how your environment looks. As long as nothing looks too out of place, you’re all good to keep going.

You then get style perfectionists who are always straightening things up and perhaps even re-arranging their furniture every now and then. These are the people who have a strong character and aren’t afraid (albeit unknowingly at times) to let it shine through in the way in which they do-up their interiors. Inevitably, these types of people often have that one living room or dining room which is exclusively for show. Nobody is ever allowed to lounge around on that one special set of couches and nobody is ever allowed to sit and eat (and make a mess) on that one special dining room suite, whether those pieces came as a complete matching set or if they were assembled using design and style variations.

Either way, you may not know it, but your furniture does indeed reveal a lot about your character.
